Nominated by the Supreme Council (Reconstituent Seimas). Signatory of the Act of Independence of the Republic of Lithuania. Member of Health Affairs and Municipality Commissions of the Supreme Council (Reconstituent Seimas). 1992-1996 - Spokesperson for Seimas Opposition, reporter of the Homeland Union Fraction of Conservatives. 1996-2000 - Member of Seimas No. 7 elected in Anykscių-Kupiskio electoral district No.49.
