Peacekeepers preparing for deployment to Afghanistan accepted ”PRT-9 Challenge”

imgMarch 5, a week-length exercise ”PRT-9 Challenge” ended in General Adolfas Ramanauskas Combat Training Centre (Nemencine). During the exercise members of the Lithuanian-led Chaghcharan PRT-9 learned to act in the mission region in Afghanistan. The exercise tested operation of the PRT-9 Staff based on the General Romualdas Gerulaitis Artillery Battalion.

Baltic countries in Tartu to practice procedures of host nation support

Simulation Centre of the Estonian National Defence College will host the international ”Baltic Host 09” exercise from March 2 to 6. During the exercise representatives from Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian national forces, United States European Command (US EUCOM) and Strike Force NATO will practice procedures of host nation support to the arriving allied capabilities.
