New Commander of Logistics assigned


New Logistics Commander Lt. Col. Ovidijus Eitminavicius received the flag of Logistics Command from Chief of Defence Lt. Gen. Valdas Tutkus, July 30.

Lt. Col. Ovidijus Eitminavicius was assigned as Logistics Commander from July 26 by order of Minister of National Defence. Before assuming the new office he was heading Logistics Department of the Joint Staff of Lithuanian Armed Forces, and worked as Head of Staff of Logistics Command before that.

O. Eitminavicius was born in 1965. In 1992 he graduated from Vilnius University as Finance and Credit specialist, in 1993 he defended MA at the US Command and General Staff College. The new Logistics Commander is married and has two daughters.
