Eleventh rotation of Lithuanian peacekeepers ready for duty in Afghanistan 2010.04.02
  Evaluation Group of the Joint Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces assessed the eleventh shift of the Lithuanian-led Ghowr Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT-11) ready to deploy on the multinational operation in Afghanistan after the evaluation and certification exercise conducted at Kairiai Military Area (Klaipėda Distr.) on April 2.
„PRT-11 military element displayed great abilities to conduct even the most complicated tasks and was assessed ready for the ISAF mission in Afghanistan PAG-11," commented lhead of the Evaluation Group Col. Valdas Kiveris. |

Minister of National Defence received representatives of the Korean Defence Ministry 2010.04.01
 On April 1 Minister of National Defence Rasa Juknevičienė met with representatives of the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Korea Lt. Col. Kwon Soon Woo and Lt. Col. Lee Ha Young.
Representatives of Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Korea have been observing predeployment training in Kairiai Military Area (Klaipėda Distr.) Lithuanian peacekeepers undergo before mission in Afghanistan. While visiting the Ministry of National Defence the guests thanked Lithuanian Minister for the invitation to observe the training of the new rotation of PRT and learn from the Lithuanian soldiers' experience. |
