Arvydas Pocius left for Afghanistan to meet with the Lithuanian-led PRT-10, to discuss course of the multinational operation with ISAF representatives, and meet with representatives of provincial administration of Ghowr. Lithuanian CHOD will also deliver to deployed peacekeepers Easter gifts from home. |

![]() March 16, Minister of National Defence of Lithuania Rasa Juknevičienė met with Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to Lithuania Paul Stephens.
In the meeting at the Ministry of National Defence operation in Afghanistan of the International Security Assistance Force in which Lithuania and Australia are taking an active part was discussed, opinions were exchanged on inducement of possible bilateral cooperation in military area, and Australia's relations with NATO addressed. |
